Terms of Service
The rules of the road. Read these before you book your first bay — they cover membership, payments, safety, and what happens when things go sideways.

Who These Terms Apply To
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Wrench Club, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company located at 522 Stocking Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504 ("Wrench Club", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using our website and facilities, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not create an account or use our services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a membership. By agreeing to these Terms you represent that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to belong to minors.
Your Account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Don't share your account — memberships are per person. Provide accurate information when you register; if anything changes (especially your email address), update it from your profile page.
You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at [email protected].
Membership
What's included
An active Wrench Club membership gives you access to the facility, clubhouse, tool library, scheduling system, and member events. Bay time is billed separately at the rates shown on the Pricing page.
Billing
Membership is billed monthly at the rate displayed during signup (currently $10/month). Your membership auto-renews on the same date each month and your card on file is charged automatically. All billing is processed by Square.
Cancellation
You can cancel your membership at any time from your profile page or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not issue a refund for the current billing period. Your access continues through the end of the period you've already paid for.
Refunds
Bay reservation fees are refundable if you cancel the reservation at least 24 hours before the start time. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are not refunded. Monthly membership fees are non-refundable once the billing period has begun.
Price changes
If we change the membership price, we'll notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. Continuing your membership after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Bay Reservations
Bay reservations are made through the member portal and confirmed via Square Bookings. A reservation holds a specific bay for a specific time block. Reservations are for your personal, non-commercial use only — you may not sublease or transfer your booking to another person.
Show up on time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without notice, we may release your bay to another member. Repeated no-shows may result in booking restrictions or membership termination.
Facility Rules & Safety
Orientation required
All new members must complete a facility orientation before their first bay session. Orientation covers equipment operation, safety protocols, and facility rules. We reserve the right to refuse bay access to anyone who has not been oriented.
You're working on your own vehicle
Wrench Club bays are for members working on their own personal vehicles. You may not use Wrench Club space to perform repairs for pay, to work on vehicles you don't own without the owner present, or to run a commercial operation of any kind.
Prohibited activities
- Racing or speed modifications intended for closed-course racing events are permitted; street racing preparation is not
- Storing vehicles, parts, or tools in the facility between sessions (unless a monthly bay arrangement has been made with staff)
- Using the facility while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Bypassing safety equipment or operating hoists without staff authorization
- Bringing minors into the bay area
Member Code of Conduct
All members must follow the Member Code of Conduct (PDF). Violations may result in immediate membership termination without refund.
Assumption of Risk & Liability
Working on vehicles involves inherent risks — heavy equipment, hydraulic lifts, chemicals, and tools. You use Wrench Club's facility at your own risk. By using the facility you acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for your own safety.
Wrench Club, LLC, its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss arising from your use of the facility, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part.
You are responsible for any damage you cause to Wrench Club's equipment, facility, or other members' property. We reserve the right to bill you for the cost of repairs.
Intellectual Property
The Wrench Club name, logo, and website content are the property of Wrench Club, LLC. Don't use them without our written permission. User-generated content (like profile information or vehicle descriptions) remains yours — we don't claim ownership of it.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and membership at any time for violation of these Terms, the Member Code of Conduct, or for any conduct we reasonably determine to be harmful to other members or the facility. In most cases we'll give you a warning first, but we're not obligated to.

Disclaimer of Warranties
The website and member portal are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the site will always be available, error-free, or that booking confirmations will never have a glitch. We'll do our best, but we can't make promises we can't keep.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kent County, Michigan. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top and notify current members by email at least 7 days before changes take effect. Continued use of your account after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
